picking up the pace . . .

There really wasn't a whole lot of stitching this past week.  I did the bare minimum on my Snow Sampler . . .
To be honest, Todd and I both kind of relapsed and I was good for not much. Finally Friday afternoon I started feeling better; Todd is still struggling a little.  So Saturday, I headed to Early Works with the grandgirls . . .
We had a really fun time!  Edith especially made herself at home.
You probably don't realize the hilariousness of this here, so check out this pic:
Yeah.  She traded her ballet shoes for Paddinton's red boots.  LOL!

I also managed to prep some stitchwork for a slow Sunday afternoon . . .
Yay! And if by some slight chance I finish this one, I can start on this one . . .
Well, and if I finish that one, I can go to this one!
Yep, one, two, three Christmas quilts all waiting for the final stitching on the binding!! I just want to say how much I love wonder clips. :)

So you'll excuse me while I go get busy -- wink, wink! Linking up with the slow stitching post at Kathy's Quilts.  Happy Sunday!

:)

That’s quite funny that Paddington wears the same size boot as his little human!! Happy binding-ing today. Did I miss the fronts, being behind in blog reading, or are they secrets/gifts?

So sorry for your relapse. Funny picture with Paddington. Looks like you have your stitching all ready to go. Can't wait to see what they are!

Enjoy your bindings ... look forward to seeing your finishes next Sunday I hope!

Love the embroidery, especially since it's in blue! What fun to have 3 granddaughters that age, so sweet! Happy Stitching!

Those grand kids are adorable, especially in red wellington boots.

My daughter used to wear her Paddington's boots when she was that age. She thought they were better than her own. Enjoy all your slow stitching and I also love the clips for holding the binding whilst I sew.

Poor Paddington lost his boots! LOL
I sure would love to help you out with those bindings... that's my favourite!

Love the pic of the youngest with Paddington's boots on! That is just too cute! Have fun with the binding. When I have the time I do love to stitch my binding down by hand! Sometimes, though it's just stitched with the machine. I hope you are both feeling better today. Hugs, Brenda

No fun being sick. Glad you got grandma time in your weekend. Wonder clips are my favorites for Binding.

Oh no! You have to get better so you can get all that work done. Love the shoe swap.

Sorry to hear you aren’t well!
Looks like you had a great time with the grandees.
Now if you wanted her to put the boots on you’d have no end of trouble, I’m sure!!
Love the snowman sampler! Happy stitching!
Nice to meet you!
