We successfully liberated mom yesterday. We wanted to play Pomp & Circumstance to celebrate her 'walking the hall' but we settled for humming it, instead. This is Mom (on the left) with her roommate (who was also sprung yesterday), Linda:
You'd hardly know they were knee replacements patients, would you?! Spry young chickens! We went from the rehab center to one of Mom and Dad's (and my) favorite restaurants, Carroll's Creek. Yum! From there we headed to home, sweet home . . .
Once we got inside, Mom headed upstairs for a nap (do not pass Go!) and Dad headed to the back porch for a cat nap (do not collect $200). It was glorious outside yesterday afternoon. I decided to put my time to good use and explore the back . . .
