design, design, design . . .

Can you believe, after all my procrastination of last month, that I've already got April's blocks finished?!

They are fairly simple; the challenge is keeping points pointy!

Now that they are finished, I can get busy on deciding which fabric I'll sash them in (remembering that only four block will go in the purple).

This one does that neat "disappearing" thing with the corners.

Hmmm....thinking no.

I think I like both of this month's blocks in the orange. I've got the first block nearly quilted. I can't wait to share it!

For more design walls, be sure to check out Judy Laquidara's Patchwork Times!

As for me, I'm off to spend a glorious day with my Sawyer!

I'm still fascinated when the corners disappear into the backing. Good job to already be finished with the April blocks!

The orange really works with the blocks. Great blocks, very crisp and sharp looking.

I think the orange is perfect for your blocks, but I really like the dark too. Either will make a great quilt.

These are such good looking blocks! I like both background fabrics and the orange makes them jump off the fabric.

Love the orange with the blocks. Your blocks are pieced "sew" perfect! Great job!
Have a super time with Sawyer and I will be here waiting for new pictures! :)

I love your blocks! They are so bright and happy. They will cheer up whatever space you decide to put them in. Have a great day with your Sawyer.
